TWU Handshake
My experience with the Urban Fellows Program has been great! Mrs. Brooklyn was very nice and made sure we were well informed about how things were going to work throughout the entire process. She also did welfare checks to make sure things were running ok. In a time of so much going on, it’s nice having someone in your corner!
This was my very first internship, hopefully one of many, and I can honestly say that the organization I worked with has helped me hone my leadership and communication skills. I also gained experience in a few new websites such as Slack, Monday.com, Doodle, and Clickup. Although our team was small, I was honored to lead them into accomplishing several research task throughout our time together.
I’m so grateful for TWU Career Connections, the Urban Fellows Program, Mrs. Brooklyn, the organization I worked with, and all those that have played a role in making this happen! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
