“This summer, I had the privilege of interning at AE Counseling Group, which was an incredibly enriching experience. Immersing myself in the daily operations of a private practice, I learned valuable lessons about client interactions, office management, and the integration of functional medicine into therapy. The serene and welcoming environment, with its calming music and peaceful ambiance, provided an ideal setting for personal and professional growth. Under the mentorship of experienced professionals, I gained hands-on experience that far surpassed classroom learning. This internship has solidified my aspiration to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, focusing on interpersonal relationships and holistic wellness. I am profoundly grateful to the Urban Fellows Program for their support, which made this transformative experience possible.
