I am deeply grateful to have received support from the Urban Fellows Program. This funding allowed me to fully dedicate myself to my research internship at UTSW’s Neuroscience Nursing Research Center. Through this experience, I strengthened my research skills, worked closely with clinical mentors, and contributed to ongoing efforts to improve stroke caregiver preparedness.
