All Career Connections appointments and events are virtual for Spring 2021.

Faculty/Staff

Career Connections recognizes that career development and career-related conversations are happening all around campus- in the classrooms, in advising appointment, in the residence halls- and not just in our office. We want to partner with faculty and staff and support these conversations with the tools and resources needed to assist students as they explore their career options.

Each college has its own Career Consultant who will design and provide in-class presentations, mock interview events, employer guest speakers and anything career-related. Faculty and staff are the key to developing a career culture at TWU and together we can better assist students with the choices they face.

If you are a campus employer and want to post an on-campus work opportunity, you can do so here.

Career Connections is excited to invite faculty and staff to participate in our new Career Champions program!

Our goals for this program are:

  1. To educate/update faculty and staff on career readiness, hiring trends, and career development issues facing our TWU students
  2. To empower faculty and staff with the knowledge to have impactful career conversations with students
  3. To reach students who connect with faculty but do not necessarily connect with our services and programs
  4. To provide consistent career messaging across all TWU communities

Each virtual sessions will be 75-90 minutes and allow time for Q & A; Participants must complete all 3 modules to receive “Career Champions” sticker and certificate. Champions will receive a quarterly newsletter and on-going professional development opportunities.

Career Champions sessions to be held on February 5, 12, & 19, 2021 at 10 am via Zoom. Register here and please register for all 3 sessions!
