The Career Connections Center strives to serve students, faculty, alumni, and employers in an increasingly diverse and competitive job market. Throughout the academic year, Career Connections facilitates workshops and seminars on career exploration and job search topics to help students develop solid career readiness skills.
The Houston Career Consultant hosts in-person presentations and live webinars on topics such as job search, resume building, interviewing, and more. Students also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with their consultant to identify and highlight their strengths and leverage them in their career search. The Career Connections team works with neighboring employers in the Texas Medical Center to bring the best information and opportunities possible to our students!
Throughout the Fall 2023 – Spring 2024 semester, the TWU Career Connections Center hosted a variety of exciting events! In the Fall, we had a total of 908 students attend, and in the Spring, we had 864 students join us.
