The team will be ministering to immigrants and refugees and living strategically in a multicultural community. In this way, they hope to build relationships with their neighbors, shop owners, and the neighborhood in general. The current team leaders started with volunteer work within secular organizations who work with refugees and immigrants. Team members would be volunteering in one or more of the following ways: working with refugees and immigrants, with the Arabic Church, with Farsi bible groups, and/or in partnership with the local church. In addition, ex-pat TIMO team members will be expected to spend at least 20 hours per week in language (Dutch or French) and cultural learning. Along with serving, team members will receive valuable training in ministry outreach and church-planting.
