UCC Avaya Technician (Contract – Hybrid)
UCC- Avaya Red Technician to support Client campus’ around Benton Harbor, MI. Position is a hybrid with both remote and on site responsibilities, travel to client campus sites may be required on a daily/weekly basis.
Position Details:
- Hourly position based upon experience & skill level
- Long term contract through June 2024, with possible extension(s)
- Standard work hours: Part-time 20 hrs per week. start time 8:00am Mon – 6 hours, Wed – 6 hours, Fri – 7 hours
- Location: Mobile Worker – Benton Harbor, MI.
- Candidates must have a valid Driver’s License & a dependable vehicle
- Travel Expectations: On average less than 15 miles, but could be up to 100 miles on occasion
Resident Technician responsibilities include:
· Conducting tests, using various testing devices, to ensure proper product performance.
· Interpreting and using worksheets, service orders, circuit diagrams, blueprints and other documentation to ensure proper installation of products.
· Preparing required installation records and documentation.
· Interfacing with Customers to provide product information.
· Performing scheduled Move, Add, Change, Delete (MACD) activity, as required.
· Provide “smart hands” assistance with repair activities
