Field Support Intern

Job Summary:

The Field Support Intern provides support with new and/or existing accounts within a region.

Essential Functions:

  • Works with local management teams to learn unique customer requirements to assist when account coverage is needed- this can include management of driver staff and significant customer interaction.
  • Interacts with drivers to promote safety and resolve issues/complaints.
  • Reports and investigates safety violations, accidents, and injuries.
  • Assists with all start-up activities- driver recruitment, account setup, office staff training, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

· Supply Chain Management majors preferred

· Basic computer skills required, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and TMW.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

· Good problem solving skills necessary.

· Must be able to work independently.

Working Conditions:

There will be significant travel within the assigned region of the United States. Hours can vary based on account needs. Mainly office environment with some time spend on yard to perform equipment checks.
