JOB SUMMARY: As our Social Media and Digital Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in a range of marketing initiatives at Cinnamon Shore. You will work closely with our Marketing team, creating engaging content to maintain and grow our social media presence. You will also assist in other digital marketing tasks including email marketing and managing our online guidebook. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing for a fast-growing community. This is a part-time position with opportunity to become full-time.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Curate and schedule content for our social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Create a monthly content calendar.
- Monitor and engage with our audience by responding to comments and messages.
- Track social media engagement to gauge the success of campaigns.
- Brainstorming campaign ideas.
- Take photos and videos throughout the community, capturing special events, guest experiences, and interiors/exteriors of homes.
- Understand and maintain the Cinnamon Shore brand.
- Assist with designing our Sunday email newsletters.
- Regularly update our online guidebook.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
Expert knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok. Must have a keen eye for design. Familiarity with Hootsuite or similar social media planning software. Familiarity with email marketing is a plus. Well versed in copywriting with the ability to understand and communicate our brand voice. Experience in photo and video editing. Understanding of social media analytics. Ability to work independently and think outside of the box. Outgoing personality with good communication skills. Organized with a strong attention to detail. Accepts feedback and works well with a team. Interacts professionally with all levels of Management, Owners/Guests, Associates, and others. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites is a plus. Must be available some holidays and weekends.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Indoors 75%, Outdoors 25%. Very warm conditions.
EDUCATION: This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a similar field.
