Ambassadorship at Universities United:

A Journey of Purpose

Have you ever felt like you wanted to make a real difference, to connect with people and build bridges in a world that can feel so divided?

Our Ambassadorship program is your chance to do just that.

We empower students to build emotional resilience and navigate deep issues with clarity and care. Drawing on time-proven approaches since the 1990s, we equip future leaders to have agency, connect meaningfully, and lead in times of rapid change.

In a world of rising divisiveness and disconnection, we believe in doing hard things the human way — with empathy, emotional intelligence, and purpose.

This is more than a six-month commitment. It’s a journey to discover your purpose, amplify your voice, and become a force for positive change. This virtual program is a powerful way to grow, lead, and connect with people from around the globe.

The best part? It’s completely free, thanks to our incredible network of volunteer Industry Experts.

What We’re All About

Our founder, Michele Risa, has been dedicated to human-centric skills training since the 1990s. She believes in the power of reinvention for both women and men, helping them unlock their full potential.

Our new initiative, Universities United, is all about bringing people together and fostering a sense of belonging. As an Ambassador, you’ll be on the front lines of this movement, joining a team of changemakers across 7 countries and 9 universities, including Cornell, Sorbonne, Vanderbilt, and New York University.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It

Forget boring lectures. This program is all about action. Your team’s mission will be to co-host and execute two Campus Impact Projects, a real-world initiative designed to tackle current problems: “How to Navigate Any Difficult Conversation” and “How to Become a Masterful Storyteller.”

You’ll be putting your communication, leadership, and project management skills to the test in a way that truly matters. To help you succeed, you’ll have:

  • Workshops: We’ll provide you with the tools you need to sharpen your skills and gain clarity on your professional journey.
  • Ambassador Teams: You’ll connect with your Accountability Buddy, creating a small, intimate team from different universities. Think of it as your personal support system, where you can brainstorm ideas and support each other through your projects.
  • Mentorships: You arrive as a mentee and become a mentor. You will be connected with our incredible Industry Experts and the CEO of the program, who offer guidance and wisdom.
  • A Grand Finale: The program culminates in your showcasing the two virtual Campus Impact Projects, where you present to everyone on your campus. It’s your moment to shine and show off the incredible difference you’re making.

What’s in It for You?

This Ambassadorship is more than just a line on your resume. You’ll:

  • Become part of a powerful international network of changemakers.
  • Earn an Ambassadorship Certification to highlight your new skills.
  • Strengthen your interview confidence and public speaking abilities.
  • Gain VIP access to exclusive events and inspiring professionals.
  • Become part of a lifelong community dedicated to making the world a better place.
  • As Maureen from NYU Abu Dhabi said, “Every session with Michele is like a self-empowerment session. She is the kind of mentor you wish everyone would have.”

Are you ready to make a difference?

As an Ambassador, you advocate the values, vision, and mission of Universities United.

We’re looking for collaborative team players who are passionate about becoming a radically new definition of leadership. If you’re a clear communicator, creative, curious, and ready to challenge the status quo, you’re a perfect fit.

Join us and help make a difference at this critical time in history.

The world needs what only you can bring.
