What to Expect:
As a Technical Support Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for installation, test, and support of Distributed Architecture Applications, including server-based applications for CMTS and CMTS related products. You will work closely with Technical Support, Software, and Hardware engineering teams to validate installation and support of several Broadband products in the CommScope portfolio. This Intern will have the opportunity to learn DOCSIS 3.1, IP/Routing (IP v4 & v6), RF, and video technologies. The opportunity to trouble-shoot lab-based problems and work on customer issues from a vendor standpoint.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Installation / setup of server / computer based equipment in lab environment
- Validating software installation packages and supporting documentation
- Assist in network design and implementation new products
Required Qualifications for Consideration
- Junior or Senior standing in a BS, BA or master’s student in Information Technology / MIS / CS / EE / CE from an accredited university
- Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.2
- Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
