Easy Event Planning LLC (EEP) is a socially-conscious technology company that is changing the way people plan events. We offer a comprehensive digital marketing internship (learn more here) but we are also specifically looking for a team of PR students who want to get started right away to promote our “Hope and Thank COVID-19 Heroes” initiative on a nationwide scale. The site allows everyone across the country to thank the healthcare workers risking their lives and the lives of their loved ones to save ours. You will find more information and be able to post and share your own message here: https://www.easyeventplanning.com/honor-and-thank/.

More than 1700 American healthcare workers have lost their lives. And our country has talked about nothing but politics for months. It’s time to get our priorities back in order.

The site allows people to upload a video, image or text message of hope and gratitude. Messages can be sent to a single healthcare hero, a facility, all facilities within a 25-mile radius, the entire state or the whole country.

This is an unprecedented opportunity for you to gain measurable, impressive resume experience in an initiative we believe can go viral. Future employers will be very impressed to hear you were part of a well-known movement.

You must be able to devote at least 50 hours over the winter break. Leadership positions may be available to those able to devote more time. Scheduling is flexible but if reaching out to media outlets you will have most luck during regular working hours.

You will research and contact the media contacts, influencers, entertainers, politicians, sports figures and celebrities who can get this viral. You may contribute to our social media presence regarding the initiative as well. You must be willing to make actual phone calls and aggressively push to get the message out. You will have daily tasks to all contact the same TV shows, influencers, etc and will also have your own contacts with whom you connect. We are looking for students passionate about this initiative and not just looking to put time in.

If you successfully complete this, it’s possible you’d have an opportunity to intern with us for the spring or summer but our internship program is extremely competitive.

This is ideal for students who are public relations and communications majors.

Please apply within Handshake but we need you to also complete this form.

We have the largest event vendor directory in the United States (more than 400k profiles) and game-changing technology that no one has (an instant chat feature, for example). The site is poised to become very high-profile in coming years.

*Contact Internship and Career Advisor to see if position is eligible for academic credit.
