Fundraising Director: Volunteer Position

Health Heralds (previously Donate Essentials) is an international youth-led 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area that focuses on making health literacy accessible to the average person.

Are you passionate about nonprofit development and creating meaningful impact through fundraising? Do you love building relationships, designing creative campaigns, and helping a mission thrive?

Good news—we are currently recruiting a Fundraising Director! As Fundraising Director, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and lead creative fundraising initiatives that support Health Heralds’ mission
  • Build and nurture relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
  • Design targeted campaigns to secure funds and resources for our programs
  • Oversee a team of fundraising volunteers to coordinate outreach and events
  • Collaborate with other leadership members to ensure financial sustainability for our organization

Requirements:

  • High school or university student (ages 13-25)
  • Fluent in English
  • Comfortable using digital communication tools and platforms

Please note:

  • Access to a computer with a stable internet connection is expected for active participation in all aspects of the leadership position.
  • Applicants that are considered may be contacted for an interview.
  • The time commitment for this position is between 4-6 hours per week.

Due Date: All applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Ideal candidates are pre-meds, interested in healthcare, or want to make health literacy more accessible.
