JRO operates two transitional living homes for young adults between the ages of 18-25 that have aged out of foster care or that have become homeless for other reasons. We help them transition into adulthood, while imparting the love of Christ. We are located in Plano, TX.
The purpose of the Relief House Manager is to provide oversight to our homes when our regular House Managers are on vacation. We are accepting male applicants for our male residential location and female applicants for our female residential location.
The pay for this position is $10/hr. On-duty hours are 8pm-11pm. Relief House Manager is then asked to spend the night and is given accommodations. You can leave whenever you need to in the morning. You are allowed to be at the house during other times if you wish, but are only required during the on-hours and overnight.
1. High School Diploma (working towards college degree, or college degree preferred).
2. Ministry minded.
3. Able to keep program and resident information confidential.
1. Ensure residents are abiding by rules laid out in the handbook and report any infractions to Director.
2. Be open and available for residents to come to you with any issues they may be facing and to give the resident the necessary help they need.
