We are seeking a business plan writer to work on an independent contractor basis. Based on an audio recording of a client Kickoff Session, the contractor will develop a business plan of approximately 20 pages. This plan includes, but is not limited to, a detailed company description, market and industry research, competitive analysis, management summary, and marketing strategies. Financial analysis will not be performed by contractors.

The exact time required, as well as the contractor’s pay, varies from assignment to assignment. Most assignments can be completed in 15 to 18 hours, for which the contractor has an average two week turnaround period. The hourly range for beginning contractors is $12-15 per hour (paid on a per-project basis), with opportunities to advance with experience.

This is a telecommute position, with work being assigned and submitted via email. Writers work from any location in the United States and on any schedule they desire. No equipment, materials, or benefits are provided. All contracted writers will be bound by a confidentiality agreement.
