Hours: 10–20 hours per week (flexible) | 10-12 week internship

Join Ronald McDonald House Fort Worth and support a mission-driven nonprofit that serves families with children receiving medical care while learning the basics of nonprofit accounting.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with organizing financial records and electronic files
- Support accounts payable processes and expense tracking
- Help track donor contributions and grant payments
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and reconciliation support
- Create process documentation, checklists, and workflow tools
- Participate in team meetings
Skills You’ll Gain
- Hands-on experience in nonprofit accounting
- Practical skills in Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Professional experience for your resume in a mission-driven organization
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college/university program (Accounting, Finance, Business preferred)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
- Reliable, professional, and eager to learn
