Computer Science and Engineering Majors: Train with us and get the technical and soft skills you need to confidently enter the tech industry as a software engineer!

This program is fully virtual.

Have you dreamed about working for a top tech company like Workday? Our intensive immersion program, SEO Tech Developer, can help you build the skills needed to secure highly coveted internships at companies like Workday and Goldman Sachs, and other industry-changing companies – where generally only 5% of applicants are accepted! This program includes training, curriculum and mentoring – which are all necessary to compete for entry-level tech roles at tech companies and startups offering top-tier compensation and opportunities for growth.

The SEO Tech Developer is an intensive, FREE immersion program, designed to propel Black, Latinx, and Native American Computer Science and Engineering college sophomores to the next level. During the summer, participants build industry-critical technical and problem-solving skills, and finish the six-week residency with a portfolio-ready project. Participants also gain access to comprehensive soft-skill building and interview preparation resources to support and help you land a technology internship during your Junior summer.

What You Get

· Individual and group projects providing hands-on experiential training

· Virtual six-week summer intensive residency

· Three-week pre-residency virtual training starting at the end of May

· Post-residency virtual internship/interview preparation in the fall including mock interviews, technical interview bootcamp, mentoring and tutoring

· A $6000 weekly stipend during the summer session to help defray expenses

· A completed project to showcase during tech interviews

· Guidance and mentoring from tech professionals to prepare students to successfully compete for tech internships and jobs

· Soft-skills training including communication, networking workshops, navigating through work culture, and interview preparation catered to tech industry internships

Who Should Apply

· Students who identify as Black, Latinx, or Native American

· Students enrolled as a sophomore at an accredited, four-year US college or university OR students who will be transferring to an accredited, four year university upon completion of their two-year degree.

· Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, MIS and other quantitative concentrations preferred. All Majors Considered

· Experience working with ONE or more programming languages (Python, Java or C++)
