The Talent Acquisition Intern performs entry (entry- to routine-level) project work related to talent acquisition and human resources. Work involves supporting agency operations with a primary focus on gaining practical work experience and business skills for personal development or to satisfy educational requirements. Works under close supervision with limited latitude for initiative and independent judgment. This position reports to the manager or director of the assigned department. WHAT YOU WILL DO:Talent Acquisition and Human Resources• Coordinate TRS summer intern activities• Serve as primary HR contact for summer intern program• Update TRS recruitment sites including creating templates for future use and maintenance• Assist with new hire processing, orientation and onboarding• Edit current system site(s) to ensure content is accurate, up to date, and aligns with TRS careers brand• Create branding graphics to be used on website(s), promotional and training materials• Create content for human resources communications• Assist with documenting Talent Acquisition processes and procedures and assist with the creation of management aids• Compile and analyze Talent Acquisition data and reports. Assist in creating ROI reports on job fairs, job posting sites, and external partnershipsOnboarding• Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and management of summer internship program• Work with Talent Acquisition team to design, develop and implement training and presentation materials• Design and update onboarding materials, handouts, and PowerPoint presentations• Shadow Talent Acquisition Team Lead to facilitate onboarding program courseworkWHAT YOU WILL BRING:Education:• Classification will depend on qualifications:Currently enrolled in and actively attending an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student and within 12 months of graduation from a bachelor’s degree program OREnrolled in a master’s or doctorate degree program.• Actively pursuing Human Resources, Communications, Technical Writing or related degree• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook• Applicant will be required to submit a copy of official college transcripts.Experience:• Experience designing and developing presentation or training materials• Must possess strong organizational and time management skills• Ability to communicate persuasively and credibly, verbally and written • Diplomatic problem-solving skills to resolve issues with internal customers
