Overview:We are currently accepting applications from exceptional candidates for the 2021 season at our extraordinary overnight summer camps in Northeast Pennsylvania (Pocono Mountains) located just 2½ hours from New York City and Philadelphia.
Positions available in the following areas: Areas in our Outdoor Education department including High Ropes Course, Hiking, Archery and Mountain Biking.
Qualifications: We are seeking applicants with extensive facilitation and/or coaching experience, maturity, flexibility, outstanding character, and very effective communication skills. Strong candidates will have a desire to be part of a diverse camp community and to support various areas in addition to their primary area specialist responsibilities. Our athletics, creative, and bunk staff is part of a team of more than 200 people working together to create a positive, fun, and safe environment for children ages 7-16.
Our Program: Our camps offer a wide-variety of programs, including very strong sports, creative arts and outdoor education activities. We challenge campers of all athletic abilities in the most supportive and encouraging environment possible, therefore, applicants must enjoy teaching and coaching children of all skill levels. Each summer, outstanding staff members are recruited and hired from the United States and around the world. All staff will be part of a team of people that create a supportive and structured environment for everyone in our residential community. Our staff will be assured a summer of hard work, meaningful learning and growth, impact on the lives of children, and the opportunity to meet new friends that can last a lifetime.
Dates: June 13th, 2021 – August 15th, 2021
Salary: Our camps offer a competitive salary based on age and experience. Our staff will receive a salary in addition to a travel reimbursement. Room and board are included.
Responsibilities: Our staff is responsible for teaching the fundamentals of their assigned area, coaching inter-camp teams and cultivating growth of skills in our campers.
