Visit Corpus Christi is a group of BOLD visionaries, DRIVEN place makers and TRUE ambassadors for the Coastal Bend and we want you to join our team.

As the Gulf Coast Capital for coastal and outdoor recreational experiences, we are looking for a few really cool people who have a passion for living in Corpus Christi and helping the community achieve its true self.

We are looking for a dynamic team player to take the lead on creating a one-of-a-kind sports commission for the Coastal Bend. Corpus Christi is equal parts land and water which sets us apart from the majority of the country. The consistent wind, multiple depths of water, and access to both the Gulf of Mexico and Corpus Christi Bay give us a competitive advantage versus other coastal destinations to capitalize on water sports at the highest levels. Our proximity to King Ranch, home to some of the best hunting in America, relationships with the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders Division One athletics department, Houston Astros AAA affiliate Corpus Christi Hooks, and area school districts give Corpus Christi a truly unique opportunity for ultimate competitive diversity.

The Executive Director will be comfortable on water or land, on a sports field or boat and most importantly understand the spirit of competition. The ED will be a convener able to pull people together for the greater good while also being a seller by spreading the message that Corpus Christi is the place for coastal and outdoor recreational experiences.

Traveling the country to key tradeshows and group sporting events, this person will show their ability to use their critical thinking skills to maximize Corpus Christi’s land, both indoors and outdoors, and water assets to drive visitation and competition to the Coastal Bend.
