The opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of how a federally funded and state-administered program works has been tremendously helpful. Thank you to OIMZION International Ministries and the Urban Fellows Program for allowing me this opportunity. I enjoyed being a part of a group working hard to provide healthy meals to children and the disabled community. I learned that when overseeing a state-administered program it is important to know the regulations and how to adhere to all requirements. I was given the opportunity to oversee the site meal distribution and getting the opportunity to provide meals to children that might not otherwise have meals was so rewarding. Again thank you so much to the Urban Fellows Program. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to learn lessons I will keep throughout my career.
