Student Success Story: Erika Miranda

I am so thankful that I was selected for the Urban Fellows Program. School can be difficult enough as it is, and the financial burden of it can be discouraging. But, thankfully there are helpful programs like Urban Fellows that strive to help students reach their goals. I am very grateful for this opportunity to be able to continue my education and I highly encourage any student pursuing an internship to apply to Urban Fellows. The faculty associated with the program was very helpful during the entire process and made the experience even better. My internship is with Garland ISD under the McKinney-Vento federal program and it has been a wonderful experience as I have learned a lot. Urban Fellows has made it easier to handle the internship hours, work, and school all at the same time. – Erika Miranda
