Student Success Story: Jenna Shrum

Interning and completing my doctoral capstone project with United Rocks, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote physical, mental, and social skills through the sport of rock climbing for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities exceeded all my expectations. I was welcomed with warmth, enthusiasm, and support from beginning to end. The team and volunteers are great at what they do and make such a difference in the lives of many. I definitely recommend learning more about United Rocks and what they do!

Working with the Urban Fellows Program was an incredible and easy experience. Brookleyn Bush, who is a part of the Urban Fellows Program, was fantastic and prompt in assisting me with any questions and the process as a whole. It was a wonderful experience and honor to be in connection with this program, as its mission is to aid students in their academic journeys. -Jenna Shrum
