Student Success Story: Afrida Rahman

My experience with the Urban Fellows Program at TWU has been incredibly rewarding. It not only provided financial support but also opened the door for me to pursue a meaningful internship with Dallas County Health and Human Services. Through this opportunity, I was able to apply my public health knowledge in a real world setting, contribute to important community health initiatives, and gain hands-on experience that has strengthened my passion for serving underserved populations. I am truly honored to be a recipient of this scholarship, and I hope the Urban Fellows Program continues to empower and support students for years to come. -Afrida Rahman
