Key Responsibilities:
BI Solution Development:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and design custom BI solutions.
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS).
Implement ETL processes to gather, transform, and load data into reporting environments.
Optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability.
Data Integration & Management:
Assist in integrating data from various sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
Design and implement ETL processes to automate the flow of data across systems.
Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of data within BI platforms, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.
Performance Optimization:
Identify opportunities for improving the performance of BI solutions, including query optimization and database tuning.
Collaborate with database administrators and data engineers to ensure efficient data retrieval and reporting processes.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support:
Work closely with business users to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and design reports that meet their needs.
Provide technical support for BI solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements as required.
Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance the company’s data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Documentation & Best Practices:
Maintain detailed documentation of BI processes, data models, and reporting procedures.
Follow best practices for BI development, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of solutions.
Continuously seek out opportunities to improve and innovate within the BI landscape.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS) and data visualization.
Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling, report development, and dashboard creation.
Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
