Job Description: Detail-oriented and data-curious intern to support our business team through web, content, and behavioral analytics. This role is ideal for a student who thrives on uncovering actionable insights and is excited by how data shapes decisions in digital marketing and user experience. You’ll help us and our listed businesses better understand what’s working and where to focus energy to improve website performance, user engagement, and business growth. This internship will offer hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Hotjar, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio. Responsibilities: Monitor and report on key performance metrics (traffic, bounce rate, time on page, conversions) using GA4 and Google Search Console • Identify the top-performing pages and user paths to inform marketing and SEO strategy • Analyze user behavior via Hotjar (heatmaps, scrollmaps, session recordings) to pinpoint engagement issues or UX opportunities • Create simple dashboards or performance snapshots in Looker Studio to visualize trends over time • Track marketing campaign results and website traffic referrals to assess what’s driving high-value visits • Participate in tagging recommendations and event tracking updates via Google Tag Manager (under supervision) • Support internal research to benchmark how digital analytics is being integrated with AI tools in marketing optimization • Assist in summarizing findings for internal team use and cross-functional alignment • Other duties as assigned, including helping the team prepare slides or memos to communicate impact

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in one of the following areas: Marketing (with a Digital or Analytics concentration) • Business Analytics • Data Science / Statistics • Information Systems / Management Information Systems (MIS) • UX Research / Human-Computer Interaction • Communications or Media Studies (with digital or web focus)
- Foundational coursework or knowledge in data analysis, digital marketing metrics, or web user behavior
- Interest in how AI is shaping the future of analytics, marketing, or personalization
Requirements:
- Familiarity with: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) • Google Search Console • Google Tag Manager (basic knowledge acceptable) • Hotjar or similar behavior analytics tools • Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables) • Looker Studio for simple dashboards
- Proactive communicator with the ability to translate findings into clear ideas
- Curiosity about marketing funnels, user journeys, and digital conversion paths
- Pay: Unpaid, for College/Academic Credit. This requires a concurrent internship class
- Job Duration: About 15 weeks
- Schedule: Minimum of four days/week, including a required team meeting. At least 15 hours/week (225 hours total), per your school and Fashion Index minimum internship requirements
- Work Location: 100% remote
