Essential Functions
The duties of the position will be split between teaching and research. The teaching responsibilities for the upcoming year will include, but are not limited to, helping teach the lecture and/or lab exercises and holding office hours for the undergraduate research methods class/research methods lab. The research responsibilities will include working directly with a faculty member on a research project in a shared area of interest.
Work Schedule
20 hours per week (10 hours on teaching, 10 hours on research); Days and times vary during the week.

Required Qualifications
Must be enrolled in a UNO Master’s Program and have successfully completed a social science methodology course at the undergraduate or graduate level. Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency with email, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. The ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks on a weekly basis. Must complete a background check. Carry a minimum of six graduate hours in each of the fall and spring semesters.
Preferred Qualifications
Enrolled in a UNO Sociology graduate program.
Good understanding of Canvas (web-based learning management system).

Salary
Approximately $1493/Month (August 2024-May 2025) & Tuition remission
